Geraint Jones,Yogits RFC Mourns the Passing Club Icon
Yogits RFC are profoundly saddened by the recent passing of Geraint Jones. Ger was a true Yogit ‘original’, one of the foundational figures who helped establish the club back in 2017.
His boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm, both on and off the field, were integral to shaping the club’s spirit and its future success. Ger proudly represented Yogits in its inaugural festival at his beloved Abercraf in June 2019, a moment etched in our history.
While his contributions as a player were significant, Ger will be missed most deeply as a great friend to everyone who knew him. He was, universally, a gentleman on and off the Astro—a kind and respected presence whose loss leaves a void in our community.
Not only has Yogits RFC lost a founding member, but we have all lost a wonderful companion. Our heartfelt thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family and his many friends during this immensely difficult time.
